One of the main objectives of THE WAKA AGENCY will be to incorporate talent from outside of South Africa with talent thats
based in South Africa.
Many corporate companies, based in South Africa wish to hire artists from north of the Limpopo but do not have the
contacts.

The WAKA AGENCY will aim to act as a mediator between client and talent.
If the client wishes to hire a mc, speaker or musician, THE WAKA AGENCY will source the talent.
Artists will also have an oppurtunity to register with THE WAKA AGENCY by sending through their CV and photo, if work
comes through then the agency can send through the artists information to the client immediately.

The WAKA AGENCY is part of Rosie Motene Productions cc. The company is a production company based in Johannesburg,
it aims to produce content for television and film. The company offers he following services:

• Production of content for television.
• Corporate videos.
• Presenter and media training.
• Motivational talks.
• Advice on industry related issues.

Aim:

Create a synergy of talent between South Africa and the rest of the continent. Let us all shine together.

Who can join:

• Actors
• TV personalities.
• Radio personalities.
• Musicians
• Speakers

What is the criteria:

• Submission of a CV and a recent portfolio picture.
• A breakdown of what projects that yo would lie to get involved in.
• There is no fee but a 10% commission and handing fee will be paid to the agency only when and if a contract has been
   established and confirmed.

Terms and conditions.

• The WAKA AGENCY will inform the artists of events or functions that arise. If the artists are interested, then agency will
   submit their information on behalf of the artists. The agency will negotiate a rate, that has been negotiated with the
   artists, beforehand.
• The contracts will include confirmation that the client will take care of all the necessities, such as travel costs,
   accommodation, visa's and per diems. This is to be handled by the client, the agency will ensure that al the necessary
   documents are in order.
• The terms and conditions of the contract are outlined below.
• On the arrival of artists for events, the agency will ensure that the talent is happy and satisfied, baring in mind if the
   talent are booked in a province that the agency is not based in, contact will probably be on a telephonic basis only.
• Contracts:
   Before contracts are handed over to clients, the artists have the right to amend and give final approval.
   The agency will sign on behalf of the artist but no money will ever be exchanged on behalf of artist.
   A 50 % deposit is be placed in the artists bank account prior to his/her departure, the remaining 50% to be deposited on
   completion of the job.
   The artist will the pay the 10% commission to the agency.

Duties of the agency:

• To shine all the time.
• To act as mediator on behalf of the artist.
• Promote the artists where applicable.
• To provide clients and artists with up coming events and functions.
• Be upfront with artists and clients.
• Provide a section on the RosieMotene.com website, where your photos and CV will be uploaded.

Duties of artists:

• To Shine all the time.
• To provide the agency with correct information about them, i.e. if you cannot sing, do not submit yourself as a musician.
• Submit an up to date CV, pictures and demo tapes if necessary.
• Make appointments and dates
• Be professional at all times, remember you will be representing your country.
